Mohawk Community Resource Center serves to enrich the lives of residents and visitors of the surrounding communities in a friendly atmosphere.

Mohawk Community Resource Center (MCRC) assists individuals, hosts healthy activities, and is an important gathering space for our community. A variety of programs and activities occur at the center daily, including:

  • Educational and cultural programs & classes
  • Service referrals and support groups
  • Exercise and dance classes
  • Social opportunities
  • Monthly Speakers Bureau
  • Nutritional and social support for seniors
  • Computer help, internet access, public computers, fax and printing services
  • Lending library
  • Volunteer program
  • Meeting facility for community groups and private events


MCRC is a community supported center, and is dependent on donations, fundraising efforts, and rental income to support its operating budget. MCRC also hosts several fundraisers throughout the year as well as an annual sponsorship drive.

The Center is located next to The Barn at the intersection of Highways 70 and 89.

Ballroom Dance with Debbie Edwards

Series starts Monday, November 17th, 7-8 PM @ MCRC

Debbie Edwards will continue her series of dance instruction with a 4-week class on Tango and Cha Cha. Edwards has 30 years of experience teaching and coaching, earning several medals and four national titles. She has also toured nationally and across Europe as a dancer. Each 4-week session is $40, or $12 for drop-ins; no partner is required.

Wednesday, November 19th, 5-7 PM @ MCRC

Commemorating the 151st Anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. Dennis FitzPatrick will display museum-quality Civil War artifacts during an open house reception from 5-6pm. Jeff Turner will follow from 6-7pm with a presentation on the most decisive battle in the Civil War. Light refreshments will be served.
