BATTERER'S INTERVENTION FACILITATOR
Plumas Rural Services’ has immediate openings for 2 Batterer’s Intervention Facilitators. Batterer’s Intervention is a certified program to address skills of accountability, healthy life choices, and non-violent relationships to reduce the likelihood of recidivism. 1 week out of area training is required and paid for by Plumas Rural Services. Applicants should have good communication and organization skills. Strong facilitation skills are necessary. Background in Social Services is desirable. Up to 15 hrs/wk @ $13.73 to $16.20/hour. TRAINING SPECIALIST
This position provides a wide variety services for people with developmental disabilities. Services may include teaching classes, assisting with budgeting, cooking, hygiene. High school diploma or equivalent; 1 yr exp. providing similar human services; 1 yr exp with record keeping; demonstrated ability to learn how to write behavioral objectives & case management skills and knowledge of local resources. Must possess good communication skills; be flexible, dependable and able to work independently. Must possess basic skills in Word and Internet e-mail. 40 hours per week. $12.14 to $13.54 per hour, based upon experience cafeteria benefit package and vacation & sick leave offered. MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
Plumas Rural Services has an opening for a Maintenance Specialist. The position works outside of office typically traveling and/or repairing facilities. 40 hrs/wk @ $13.21 to $14.74/hour, cafeteria benefit package and vacation & sick leave available. The successful candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Have experience with maintaining and repairing living spaces including dry wall repair, painting, plumbing, general yard maintenance, clean-up. Be able to carry up to 50 pounds up a ladder to roof height. Must possess sufficient mobility to stoop, reach, climb, kneel and move about to person job duties.
