DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ADVOCATE
Plumas Rural Services’ Domestic Violence Services has immediate openings for Domestic Violence Advocates to provide services for women and children. TRAINING SPECIALIST
This position provides a wide variety services for people with developmental disabilities. Services may include teaching classes, assisting with budgeting, cooking, hygiene. High school diploma or equivalent; 1 yr exp. providing similar human services; 1 yr exp with record keeping; demonstrated ability to learn how to write behavioral objectives & case management skills and knowledge of local resources. Must possess good communication skills; be flexible, dependable and able to work independently. Must possess basic skills in Word and Internet e-mail. Up to 25 hours per week depending upon program need. $12.14 to $13.17 per hour, based upon experience cafeteria benefit package and vacation & sick leave offered. PROGRAM ASSISTANT IV
Plumas Rural Services’ ALIVE program has an opening for a Program Assistant IV. The ALIVE Program provides day services, independent living skills, job development and job coaching services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Under board supervision, the Program Assistant IV provides a wide range of clerical support duties including monitoring paperwork and deadlines, filing, and following regulations and procedures. Position will have some client contact.. High school diploma or equivalent; 2 yrs office mgmt. experience. Must possess excellent communication skills; organizational skills, have ability to prioritize, be flexible, dependable and able to work independently. Must possess excellent skills in Word, Excel and Internet e-mail. 30 hours per week, $12.71 to $14.24 per hour, based upon experience. Vacation, sick leave, holidays and cafeteria benefit plan offered.
